Hilda Himmelberg

Hilda C. Himmelberg, 93, of 308 S. Boston, died Sunday, June 22, 2003 at Nelson Good Samaritan Center, Nelson, Nebraska.

Rosary service will be Wednesday, June 25, 2003; 8:00 P.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 26; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be Thursday, June 26, 2003; 3:00 P.M. in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lawrence, Nebraska.

Hilda C. Himmelberg was born March 15, 1910 in rural Nuckolls County, near Lawrence, Nebraska to John & Clara (Dall) Kitten. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1928 and married George Himmelberg on April 5, 1932 in Lawrence, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Altar Society. She was a past member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and Senior Citizen's Group, both of Nelson, Nebraska.

Hilda C. Himmelberg was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George, great granddaughter, Bridget McWhirter, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
