Hastings resident, Ian Parry, 65, of #63 Kingston Dr., died Monday, December 29, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Memorial service will be Saturday, February 28, 2004; Noon at Eagles Aerie 592, 107 N. Denver with Jim Lewis officiating. Private family interment at a later date.

Mr. Parry was born February 9, 1938 in Cottage Hospital, Urmston, Manchester, England to Thomas William & Annie (Whittaker) Parry, He was raised and educated in Sale, Manchester, England. He also attended school for die cutting. He farmed and later worked for a folding carton company. He married Barbara Pedley on March 14, 1964 and they later divorced in 1990. He came from England to Norfolk, Virginia in 1972 and worked for a folding carton company. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska in February 1992. He worked for Great Plains Packing and retired in 2002. He was president of the Eagles Aerie 592. He was active in pool and dart leagues.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
