Illah Miller

Hastings resident, Illah L. Miller, 82, of 1049 South Hastings, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at her home.

Services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2009; 6:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M., Sunday, March 22, 2009; 1:00 P.M.- 9:00 P.M. with family present from 5:00 P.M. - 6:30 P.M., Monday, March 23, 2009; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 5:00 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. and Tuesday, March 24, 2009; 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Leukemia Lymphoma Cancer Society.

Mrs. Miller was born November 14, 1926 in Exeter, Nebraska to Wayne & Eva Rice. She attended Exeter High School and married William Dale Miller on December 23, 1942. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1988. She worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier and stocker for the past 18 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church ,Red Hat Society and American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Ruby Adler.
