Jaden was born August 25, 2006, to Tracy & Michelle (Ritz) Ochsner at UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska at four pounds eight ounces. She graduated from Hastings Senior High in 2025 and was a freshman at Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa.
Jaden’s life was based around Jesus, swim, and her twin, as well as her family and friends. Jaden had a love for the water. When she wasn’t swimming, you could find her avidly watching her favorite sports teams. Jaden lived in the moment, was always authentic, never afraid to be herself, had a witty sense of humor, and as stubborn as her dad. Jaden carried through her life a message that says: “Do not write your plans in stone, we should prepare for them to change,” because our plans are already known by Christ. She had a sweet heart for animals of all kinds, especially dogs; she would never turn down the opportunity to pet a dog. Growing up, one of the only ways you could tell the twins apart was their signature color. Jenna was purple and Jaden was pink. Later on, some would say Jaden discovered a style all her own. She lived with a competitive spirit, especially towards her older brother, Jarrett. Whether it was iMessage games, chess, or swimming, Jaden was always looking to win. She even had a competition with her brother over their Spanish grades. In case you were wondering, Jaden won.
Jaden was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack Ochsner and Jill Ritz.
Jaden is survived by her parents, Tracy & Michelle Ochsner of Hastings; brother, Jarrett Ochsner and twin sister, Jenna Ochsner; grandparents, Marie Ochsner and Lynn Ritz; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
