Jalaene Parkison

Hastings resident, Jalaene Parkison, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings.

Services will be Monday, December 19, 2016; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Private family burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Mary Lanning Hospice. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2016; 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. with the family present at the funeral home and one hour prior to service.

Jalaene was born July 23, 1931 in Ruskin, Nebraska. She graduated from Hastings Senior High in 1949. She worked in the accounting field for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney & Elsie Sweeten; husband, Donald Parkison; sister, Carolyn Gavin; and brothers, Melvin Sweeten and Allan Sweeten.
