Guide Rock resident James D. “Jim” Gerloff, 81, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, November 7, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 8, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Douglas Dietrich officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Military Honor Guard will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. with the family present 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 7, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Ashley J. Kulwicki Scholarship Fund at Hastings Museum, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, or Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Red Cloud, NE.
