James D. Kapustka

Hastings resident James D. Kapustka, 66, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE surrounded by many family members.    

There will be no services held. 

James was born October 9, 1957, at Orange, CA to Ernest A. and Lola C. (Hall) Kapustka. He retired from Allen’s Grocery Store in Hastings in 2023. 

James was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lola Kapustka, and sister, Eva Curry.  

He is survived by four sisters, Lola Griffin of Hastings, NE, Rebecca Wilson of Scottsbluff, NE, Mary Kapustka of Hastings, NE, and Carol (Michael) Olson of Lafayette, CO, and many nieces and nephews.
