Janece Rice

Hastings resident, Janece M. Rice, 59, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Friday, July 15, 2016; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings. Burial will be held at a later date in Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Janece was born November 26, 1956 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Keith & Joan (Stoner) Hopp. She graduated from DeWitt High School, DeWitt, Iowa and received her bachelor's degree from University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Janece was employed by ESU #9 as a special education teacher for 24 years.
