Hastings resident Jason Michael Marburger, 51, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 13, 2025, at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family.
Jason was born on January 7, 1974, in Henderson, NE, to Richard E. and Joyce (Norris) Marburger. He grew up with a strong work ethic and a love for the outdoors, qualities that shaped the rest of his life.
After graduating from North Central Technical College in Kansas, Jason pursued a career as a welder, a trade in which he took great pride. His skill, dedication, and reliability earned him the respect of coworkers and friends alike.
Outside of work, Jason found joy in the simple and meaningful moments. He loved fishing, off-roading, camping, and hunting—pastimes that connected him to nature and brought him peace. But nothing meant more to him than his family. He was a proud and devoted father who rarely missed a chance to attend his children’s events. In recent years, he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, whose laughter and energy brightened his days.
Jason will be remembered for his warmth, his hardworking spirit, and the way he always made time for the people and activities he loved most.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Richard; and daughter, Kiana Marburger.
