Jeffrey Hanzel

Hastings resident, Jeffrey "Dooba" John Hanzel, 53, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at his home.

Rosary will be Thursday, July 5, 2012; 1:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska. Services will be Thursday, July 5, 2012; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012; 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., Thursday, July 5, 2012; 9:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jeffrey was born October 24, 1958 in Fremont, Nebraska to John & Betty (Jenson) Hanzel. He graduated from Hastings High School; and worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad where he later retired.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, John Hanzel.
