Joanne Hinrichs

Hastings resident Joanne J. Hinrichs, 92, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, NE.

Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Monday, December 23, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Thomas Brouillette officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.

Joanne was born on February 5, 1927, in Hastings, NE to Lloyd & Anna (Pancau) Laux. She graduated from St. Cecilia High School in 1944. Joanne married Harry G. Hinrichs on September 2, 1946, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church; he preceded her in death on June 8, 2008.

Joanne was a bookkeeper for Nelson & Johnson. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry G. Hinrichs; son, Christopher Hinrichs; and brother, John Laux.
