Joel Andrew Eberle

Hastings resident Joel Andrew Eberle, 40, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Mary Lanning Health Care.

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, at First United Methodist Church in Hastings with Pastor Lance Clay officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery at a later date. Viewing will be 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the family. Joel was born July 3, 1985, in Kearney, Nebraska, to Don & Linda Eberle. He graduated from Kenesaw High School in 2004. Joel graduated from Southeast Community College, earning an Electrical Degree in 2006. Joel continued his education at Bellevue University, receiving a Bachelor of Business Management Degree in 2009. In 2013, Joel, along with his friend, Zach, started A & E Electric.

Joel married the love of his life, Dawn on June 9, 2012; to this union, three children were born: Myla, Hadley, and Hayes. Joel was a devoted family man whose life was centered around the people he loved most. He found joy in the outdoors, spending his time hunting, fishing, and golfing whenever he could. Joel also loved traveling, especially on trips to Florida, where he enjoyed relaxing and making memories with family.

A passionate sports fan, Joel proudly supported the Dallas Cowboys and the Nebraska Cornhuskers, rarely missing a chance to cheer them on. He cherished time spent with friends and family, moments filled with laughter, competition, and connection.

Joel will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love of the outdoors, and the warmth he brought to those around him. His memory will live on in the countless moments shared and the lives he touched.

Joel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe & Lucille Siegel, Raymond & Helen Eberle.
