John Sowers Jr

Services will be Tuesday, October 30, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. in Inland Cemetery, Inland, Nebraska. Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2007; 5 PM-9 PM, Monday, October 29, 2007; 9 A.M. - 9 P.M. at the funeral home & Tuesday, October 30, 2007; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family.

Mr. Sowers was born November 6, 1946 in Adams County, Nebraska to John Joseph Sr. & Blanche Irene (Hatcher) Sowers. He graduated from Hastings High School and married Mary Lou Korgan on September 2, 1967 at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings. He owned & operated Sowers Auto Repair. He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church & National Hotrod Association for Drag Racing.

Mr. Sowers was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kenneth and an infant sister.
