Judith K. "Judy" Craft

Hastings resident Judith K. “Judy” Craft, 76, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Mary Lanning Healthcare.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, at Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings with Pastor Ben Hanne officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Hastings. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Judy was born April 14, 1949 to Ellsworth & Dorothy (Howat) Swayze in Minden, Nebraska. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1967. On August 31, 1968, Judy married Dennis Craft. She worked in childcare for many years. Judy was a member of Grace United Methodist. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffrey Craft; brothers, Larry and Mike Swayze; infant brother, Jimmy Swayze; and sister-in-law, Linda Swayze.
