Judith J. Marfisi

Hastings resident Judith J. Marfisi, 81, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at her home.    

Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Friday, December 29, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Jeremy Hazuka officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. There will be no visitiation. Memorials may be given to St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Judith was born December 10, 1942 in Hastings, NE to Alferd and Agnes (Koepke) Jurgena. She graduated from Hastings Senior High School in 1960 and attended college. Judith married John C. Marfisi on February 8, 1964.

Judith was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, gardending, and flowers. Judith was known as a sweet and caring person.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents.
