June was born May 31, 1957, to Stan and Mary (Sole) Haack. On February 14, 1975, June married the love of her life, Bob Wahl. Together, they shared more than 51 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, memories, and the joys of family.
June dedicated 43 years of her life to Burger King, where she was known for her hard work, commitment, and the many friendships she made along the way. Working at Burger King, she established a second family with her coworkers and regular customers. After more than four decades of service, she retired in 2020.
June will be remembered for her kind and caring heart. She never knew a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Family was especially important to June, and she loved watching her family take part in their activities and being there to support them. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren in all their various activities and cheering them on from the sidelines. June also had a love for dirt-track racing and enjoyed spending time watching the races.
Throughout her life, June touched many lives through her work, friendships, and the love she shared with her family and community. Her warmth, strong work ethic, caring nature, and devotion to those she loved will be treasured and remembered by all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her beloved husband, Bob, her family, friends, cherished dog Oreo, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
June is preceded in death by her parents, Stan & Mary Haack; brother, Stan Haack, Jr.; sister-in-law, Jean Haseloh; father-in-law, Lawrence Wahl; mother-in-law, Leona Wahl.
