Kathleen Wilson

Hastings resident, Kathleen E. Wilson, 89, of 721 So. First Avenue, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 20, 2007; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska. No viewing. Book signing Thursday, January 18. 2007; 9am-5pm, Friday, January 19, 2007 9am-5pm and Saturday, January 20, 2007; 9am until service time. Memorials to Mary Lanning Hospice.

Mrs. Wilson was born November 18, 1917 in Bladen, Nebraska to George & Esta (Sailor) Benker. She attended school in Bladen, Nebraska. She moved to Buhl, Idaho and married Truman Wilson on February 16, 1937 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He preceded her in death in 1991. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska from Buhl, Idaho in 1942. She worked as a technician for the Hastings Regional Center for 41 years, retiring in 1983. She was a past member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a charter member of Elks Auxiliary Does.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Truman, two brothers, one sister and one grandson.
