Kenneth Motley

Former Glenvil resident, Kenneth Motley, 89, of the Goldbeck Towers, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Tuesday, November 27, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, rural Ayr, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday, November 26, 2007; 1P.M. - 9P.M. and Tuesday, November 27, 2007; 9A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Glenvil Rescue Unit.

Mr. Motley was born August 18, 1918 in Oak, Nebraska to George & Myrtle (Robbins) Motley. On September 2, 1939, he married Evelyn Rosenau and she preceded him in death in 2004. He was a self employed farmer, worked for the State of Nebraska at Crystal Lake for 21 years and also at Central Community College in security. He was a life long area resident.

Mr. Motley was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; son, Lonnie; 3 brothers and a sister.
