Kenneth Porter

Harvard resident, Kenneth W. Porter, 62, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at his home.

Services will be Saturday, March 12, 2016; 2:30 P.M. at Harvard United Church of Christ, Harvard with Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Harvard Cemetery, Harvard. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2016; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family here 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Kenneth was born September 5, 1953 in Denver, Colorado to Floyd & Lorene (Burns) Porter. He graduated from Panola High School in Panola, Oklahoma. Kenneth married Cindy Conklin on June 14, 1975 at Harvard United Church of Christ. He worked as a leadman at Flowserve in Hastings. Kenneth was a member of Harvard United Church of Christ.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy Daring; an infant sister; and brother, Leo Schumacher.
