LaDonna was born on March 29, 1931, to Phillip and Antoinette Chevalier, LaDonna grew up in Campbell, NE, where she graduated from Campbell High School in 1949. In November of 1950, she married the love of her life, Francis Raymond Choquette, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and farming.

LaDonna and Francis spent their lives working the land and nurturing their community. Their devotion to St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Campbell was unwavering, with LaDonna leading the church choir and Altar Society (including the decorating of the church and managing the linens for many years). Her voice was a source of comfort and joy to all who heard it.

After Francis’s passing, LaDonna found joy in collecting antiques and treasures that reflected her love of history and beauty. In her final years, she resided in Omaha, NE, where she continued to inspire those around her with her warmth, resilience, and gentle spirit.

LaDonna’s life was a testament to devotion-devotion to her faith, her family, and the simple joys of everyday life. Her legacy will echo in the songs she sang, the lives she touched, and the love she gave so freely.
