LaVon “Connie” Adcock

Hastings resident, LaVon Connie Adcock, passed away on December 9, 2025, at her home.

Memorial Services and a burial at Fairfield Cemetery will take place at a later date. Memorials can be directed to the family for future designation. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.

Connie was born November 26, 1950, in Hastings, Nebraska, to John and LaVon ‘Bonnie’ (McReynolds) Cafferty. She was employed at Mary Lanning as a Nurse’s Aid and Secretary for many years. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, gardening, fishing, baking, and spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Baker, grandkids; Megan Jones (Ethan), and Grayson Baker, great-granddaughters; Odyssey and Maizily Ten Eyck, sister-in-law; Cathy Cafferty, nephew; Jason Cafferty and family, many beloved cousins and her good friend, Merry Perry.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; brother; Tom Cafferty, and nephew; Glen Cafferty.
