Hastings resident Linda Beiriger, 78, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at Adapt Nursing & Rehab of Blue Hill, NE.
Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2026 and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2026 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Jeremy Hazuka officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, NE. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2026 at Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings, with family present from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family requests memorials be given to the family to be established at a later date. Linda was born on September 12, 1947, in Hastings, NE, to George & Blanche (Patterson) Fuller, Sr. She was united in marriage to her husband, John Beiriger, on July 25, 1970, beginning a partnership filled with devotion and shared experiences. Together, they were blessed with two children, Justin and Katie. Linda was a devoted mother who was always there with love and guidance. She took great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially reading, watching television, playing games, and spending time with loved ones. When her hands were younger, she also loved to crochet. These brought her comfort and happiness throughout the years.
Linda was a hardworking and committed individual who dedicated 23 years of service to Walmart. Many people saw her smiling face when entering or exiting the Hastings store. Her strong work ethic and friendly nature made her a valued colleague and a familiar, welcoming presence to many in her community.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her steady presence, and the love she shared with those around her. She believed that you could never have too much love in your life. Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She is deeply missed and forever remembered.
Linda was preceeded in death by her parents and sister, Karen Stevens.
