Lloyd William Sandoe

Hastings resident Lloyd William Sandoe, 86, continued to his next adventure on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.    

Memorial Services and burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be held at a later date. 

Lloyd was born June 13, 1937, northwest of O’Neill, NE in Holt County to Freida May (Benash) Sandoe and Jacob David Sandoe. He graduated from Hastings High School with the Class of 1956 and married Maxine E. Myers on August 2, 1959, at the First Christian Church.

Lloyd was a lifelong mechanic and lover of classic cars. He worked for Metz Baking Company and Big G Auto Service Center. He enjoyed racing cars, playing cards, eating ice cream, and spending time with his family.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother, Freida May; father, Jacob; step-mother, Zelma; brothers, Frank J. Sandoe and Wade C. Sandoe; sister, LaDonna M. Jaeger; and daughters, Janice L. Glover and Waunita J. Longshore.
