Lois G. 'Trudy' Barry, 88, of 8535 N. Marion Rd, Hastings, Nebraska died Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Rosary and visitation service will be Friday, April 25, 2003; 7:00 P.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 26, 2003; 9:30 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Steve Major officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Lois G. Barry was born June 9, 1914 in Adams County, Nebraska to Joseph M. & Mary E. (Kernan) McKenna. She graduated from Hastings Senior High School in 1932 and attended Hastings College. On September 21, 1935, she married William M. 'Bill' Barry and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2001. She taught school, worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot, as a nurses aide at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital and at the Cornhusker Ammunition Plant in Grand Island. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Altar Society and Adams County Extension Club. She was a life long area resident.

Lois G. Barry was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William M. 'Bill' Barry Sr., infant daughter, Lillian, granddaughters, Paula Smits and Catherine Osterhaus, a great granddaughter, Amanda Smits, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
