Lyle L. Judy

Glenvil resident Lyle L. Judy, 73, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Brookestone Gardens, Kearney, NE.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 16, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Kathy Uldrich officiating. Burial will be at Juniata Cemetery in Juniata. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Lyle was born July 23, 1952, in Nelson, Nebraska to Melvin and Erma (Svoboda) Judy. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1970. Lyle married Sandra K. Wiseman on November 17, 1973; she preceded him in death on August 15, 2013. He worked as a foreman at T-L Irrigation in Hastings for 49 years. Lyle liked spending his time visiting casinos, watching Husker football, and fishing.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra K. Judy; brothers-in-law, Ron Wiseman, Chuck Wiseman, and Cliff Wiseman; and sisters-in-law, Liz Wiseman, Diane Averill, and Mary Wiseman.
