Marmion Edwards Sr

Hastings resident, Marmion M. Edwards Sr., 64, of 2318 W. 7th Street, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, October 6, 2008; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Father Ramon Decaen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. A memorial will be established for the education of his grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2008; 9:00 A.M.-9:00 P.M., Sunday, October 5, 2008; 1:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. and Monday, October 6, 2008; 9:00 A.M. until service time.

Mr. Edwards was born May 23, 1944 in Hastings, Nebraska to Moses M. & Bernice K. (Baer) Lippincott. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1962 and from Milford Trade School as a Diesel Technician in 1965. He married Lynn Palmer on December 5, 1965 in Omaha, Nebraska. He owned and operated Edwards Trucking Company and was a member of the Elks and Eagles.

Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents, step father, Bruce Edwards and a half sister, Sharon Lippincott.
