Hastings resident Marsha K. Valentine,73, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, NE.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2026, at Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene in Hastings, with Pastor Krystal Kennard officiating. Burial will be held at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, NE. Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Memorials may be given to Lakeside Community Church of Nazarene or St. Jude’s. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Marsha was born July 14, 1953, in Hastings, NE, to Melvin and Betty Louise (Lepper) Harper. Marsha and Thom owned and ran Taco John’s in Hastings, NE for 16 ½ years.
