Martha A. Dougherty

Hastings resident Martha A. Dougherty, 90, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family. 

Martha was born on January 31, 1935, in Formoso, KS to Clarence and Helen (Stevens) Simmons. She graduated from Burr Oak High School. Martha enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, going to garage sales, and spending time with her dog, Riley.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pamela Brown; and brothers and sisters; Don Simmons, Clarence Junior Simmons, Betty Gonzela, and Paul Simmons.
