Martin Hedlund

Hastings resident, Martin 'Bud' Hedlund, 74, of 411 S. Elm #107, died Monday, December 23, 2002 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Friday, December 27, 2002; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Interment will be Saturday, December 28, 2002; 11:00 A.M. in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska.

Martin Hedlund was born October 8, 1928 in Gregory, South Dakota to Arthur & Lucy (Smith) Hedlund. He moved from South Dakota to Hastings, Nebraska in 1952 and worked at the Meat Animal Research Center in Clay Center for 19 years. He was also a carpenter and a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Chapperal Motorcycle Club. He was a past member of the Eagles Club. On April 7, 1972, he married Twila Stephenson.

Martin Hedlund was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
