Hastings resident Matthew Douglas “Matt” Mick, 45, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, in Hastings, NE.

Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. Friday, December 5, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Craig Clinch officiating. The family is requesting casual attire be worn to the service. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. with the family present 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 4, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website.
