Maxine M. Watson

Hastings resident Maxine M. Watson, 78, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE. 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. with the family present Thursday, July 10, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family. Maxine was born July 23, 1946, in Pratt, KS, Maxine married Jerry Watson Sr. who preceded her in death in 2007. She was a cook at Bernardo’s Steakhouse for many years.
