Minnie Schlitt

Minnie A. Schlitt, 98, of Perkins Pavilion, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, February 28, 2008; 10:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Alan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2008; 5-9 P.M. with family present 7-9 P, M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church or Perkins Pavilion.

Minnie A. Schlitt was born October 19, 1909 in Hastings, Nebraska to William & Elizabeth (Schriener) Schlitt. She graduated from Hastings High School in the class of 1928. Minnie worked 46 years for Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph Company and was a life member of the Independent Telephone Pioneer Association. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a life long Hastings resident.

Minnie A. Schlitt was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Henry, William, and Paul Schlitt, and sisters Freda Schlitt and Marie Schlitt Johnson.
