Nancy Schreiner

Hastings resident Nancy D. Schreiner, 76, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Rosary will be 9:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 13, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Douglas Daro officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Book signing will be 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Nancy was born August 8, 1945, in Hastings, NE to John E. “Jack” & Joan (Kunst) Halloran. She graduated from St. Cecilia High School in 1963. Nancy owned and operated Central Graphics printing service for over 15 years and then was an in-home daycare provider. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and Altar Society. Nancy had a great devotion to her Catholic faith which she shared with her children. She was very patriotic and loved her country. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joan Halloran; three infant children, Allison, Matthew, and Sarah; brother-in-law, Dan Vap; sister-in-law, Liz Halloran; and niece, Amy Vap.
