Hastings resident, Noah S. Swift, Jr., 78, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Graveside Services with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be Saturday, March 26, 2016; 10:00 A.M. at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings with Pastor Mel Johnson officiating. Memorials may be given to the family. Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2016; 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with the family present, at the funeral home.
Noah was born September 27, 1937 in Elbowoods, North Dakota to Noah S. Sr. & Germaine C. (Smith) Swift. He served in the U.S. Navy from February 13, 1956 until September 19, 1958. Noah was employed as a press operator. He moved in 2000 from Texas to Hastings.
Noah was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
