Olga Whittaker

Olga Whittaker, 81, of 900 East 'B' , Village Green, died Monday, October 27, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Memorial service will be Thursday, October 30, 2003; 5:00 P.M. at Hastings Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Randy Madison officiating. Private family burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Olga Whittaker was born April 4, 1922 in Ashby, Texas to William & Hulga (Hullquist) Artist. She graduated from Holdrege High School, Holdrege, Nebraska and attended college for two years. On October 3, 1941, she married James 'Frank' Whittaker. Olga and her husband, Frank were 60 year residents of Tucson, Arizona where they raised their family and were members of the First Evangelical Free Church. She was a nurse in Tucson, Arizona before moving to Hastings, Nebraska in 2001. In Tucson, Olga was active in various social services, civil activities and church organizations.

Olga Whittaker was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two sisters and two brothers.

Memorial may be given to Hastings Evangelical Free Church

Wed. 10-29-03; 4:30 pm-6:30 pm with family present.
