Pamela was born on August 4, 1954, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Robert and JoAnn (Croswell) Hyde. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School and attended Nebraska Western Community College before continuing her education at Kearney State College, where she earned her master's degree in Speech Pathology. Pamela was united in marriage to her husband, Frank, on July 7, 1979, and together they were blessed with a daughter who was the joy of their lives.
She was employed at Flowserve, where she was a dedicated and hardworking employee for more than 20 years until her Alzheimer's diagnosis forced her retirement. She greatly enjoyed her time in the office and valued the relationships she built with her customers and coworkers. Pam was a friend to everyone and carried a contagious joy wherever she went.
In addition to her career, Pamela played an active role on the family farm, whether driving a tractor or helping care for the hogs, cattle, sheep, and her beloved donkey, Moses. She found great satisfaction in the farming lifestyle and took pride in supporting her family's agricultural endeavors. Pamela had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She loved watching birds, and tending to her flower gardens. She loved cooking and baking, and no one ever left her home hungry.
Above all, she was incredibly proud of her grandchildren and cherished every moment she spent with them, following their many activities and enthusiastically supporting each of their endeavors while creating lasting memories together.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents.
