Pamela Baker

Hastings resident Pamela Baker 75, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at her home in Hastings, NE surrounded by her family.    

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 26, at Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. with family present 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Pamela was born February 28, 1948, in Hastings, NE, daughter of Barton & Geraldine (Sherman) Jaynes. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1966. Pamela married Lyle W. Baker on May 6, 1968; three children were born to this union, Bradley, Jeffrey, and Stacey. Pamela has been a resident of Hastings since 1983. 

Pamela worked for Thermo King for 23 years; retiring in 2010. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle; brother, Stanley Jaynes; and daughter-in-law, Beckie Baker.
