Pamela M. Kuhn

Hastings resident Pamela M. Kuhn, 74, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday September 27, at the Evangelical Free Church in Hastings with Pastor Scott DeWitt officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the Evangelical Free Church. Memorials may be given to Evangelical Free Church in Pam’s honor or at the charity of their choice. 

Pam was born on September 29, 1950, in Wichita KS to Elbert Jackson and Aladeen (Jeffries) Kuhn. An exceptional student, Pam graduated from Englewood High School in Colorado and the University of Northern Colorado.

Moving to Oxford, NE for her first teaching job, Pam then spent 33 years teaching in the Doniphan-Trumbull School District. She taught hundreds of children, two generations of many families. Nothing pleased her more than to see the successes of her former students. As a history buff, Pam especially enjoyed teaching history to 5th and 6th graders. She spent vacations touring many presidential museums and historic sites around the USA. She also traveled to California and down the Mississippi River on the historic Steamboat Julia Belle Swain. Pam was active in her church and enjoyed helping communities on mission trips.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Aladeen Kuhn. She is survived by her sisters, Billie Wolfe and Sheree Kuhn (Dean Berggren); nephews, Joshua (Katie), Ryan Wolfe, and Sam Wolfe; and niece, Olivia Wolfe.
