Paul Ernst

Hastings resident, Paul R. Ernst, 77, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011; 9:45 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. There will be no visitation; book signing will be held Monday, May 2, 2011; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family c/o Larry Ernst, 820 N. 2nd Avenue, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.

Paul was born November 17, 1933 in Brunswick, Nebraska to Alvin & Vera (Sladek) Ernst. He was a construction worker and was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Evelyn McDaniel.
