Pauline Miller

Hastings resident, Pauline F. Miller, 82, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to East Dallas First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 629 N. Peak Street, P.O. Box 710329, Dallas, Texas 75371-0329.

Pauline was born October 7, 1928 in Ragan, Nebraska to Noland & Elva (Johnson) Burns. She graduated from Hastings High School, Hastings College, and Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. On February 13, 1959 she married Gordon Miller in Ottawa, Kansas; he preceded her in death in 2008. She was a teacher. Pauline taught at Fullerton, Henderson, Hastings, and Hastings College in Nebraska; she also taught in Dallas, Texas.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon Miller; and brother, Paul Burns.
