Juniata resident Rita Lee Lacey, 73, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at her home.
Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family.
Rita was born on May 2, 1952, in Superior, NE, to Dwane and Norma L. (Purcell) Imler.
She graduated from Lawrence High School and later married the love of her life, Rex Lacey. The couple shared many years together before Rex preceded her in death on August 16, 1993.
Rita worked at Bruckman Rubber, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She was also a devoted attendee of Juniata Community Church and cherished her faith and community.
A woman of many talents and interests, Rita found joy in crocheting, tending to her flowers, and spending time outdoors. She especially loved fishing and hunting—pastimes that reflected her deep appreciation for nature and the simple pleasures in life. She will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the love she gave so freely to family and friends.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex Lacey; brother, Rockey Imler; and brother-in-law, James Stone.
