Hastings resident, Roger Scott Parks, 45, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Sunday, October 28, 2012; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Roy Birnbaum officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, October 27, 2012; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established for his children, c/o Shawn Parks, 3211 Village Drive, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.

Roger was born June 23, 1967 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Roger & Karen (Humphrey) Parks. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1985. Roger married Andrea Reed on April 28, 2001 in Hastings; they later divorced. He worked in the fabrication, refrigeration, and maintenance departments for Ag Processing Inc. (AGP).

Roger was preceded in death by his grandparents.
