Rosalie J. Snell

Hastings resident Rosalie J. Snell, 85, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Private Graveside Services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Hastings. There will be no viewing or visitation. 

Rosalie was born on August 16, 1940, in Geneva, NE, to Raymond and Audrey (Manning) Stewart. She graduated from Friend High School and went on to attend business school in Lincoln and then worked for the Lancaster County Attorney. During her marriage, she and her husband were former part owners of Ponderosa Bowling, where they spent countless joyful hours together doing what they loved — bowling.

A devoted homemaker, Rosalie’s heart was always with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, bringing her endless joy and pride.

Rosalie will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the laughter, stories, and love she leaves behind.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents.
