Ruby Hollister

Former Hastings resident, Ruby Hollister, 72, of Edgar, Nebraska, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Burial Office will be Friday, January 4, 2008; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with The Very Rev. Robert Neske officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2008; 5P.M-9P.M., Thursday, January 3, 2008; 9A.M.-9P.M. and Friday, January 4, 2008; 8:30 A.M. until service time with family present. Memorials may be given to Saint Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral.

Ms. Hollister was born October 2, 1935 in Hastings, Nebraska to Lloyd & Ada (Overton) Hollister. She attended schools in Hastings and retired as a laboratory aid from Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital after 30 years. In 2002, she moved to Edgar, where she resided until her death.

Ruby had a giving heart, loved the Lord and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Hollister was preceded in death by her parents.
