Scott Stramel

Hastings resident, Scott E. Stramel, 44, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 by Prosser, Nebraska as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Services will be Monday, June 11, 2012; 2:00 P.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Josh Davis officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family. Visitation will be Sunday, June 10, 2012; 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Scott was born December 10, 1967 in Hastings, Nebraska to James E. & Barbara (Latzel) Stramel. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1987. Scott married Lisa M. Burnham on December 10, 1993 in Hastings, Nebraska. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Smitty's Electric.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, James Stramel; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Scott Burnham.
