Shirley J. Klusman

Former Holstein resident Shirley J. Klusman, 73, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at Methodist Hospital, Omaha, NE.  

Memorials Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 25, at Butler Volland Chapel with Pastor Paul Duffy officiating. There will be no viewing, visitation, or burial held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Omaha. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Shirley was born May 4, 1950, in Minden, NE to Charles and Marie Rosario (Cesarani) Gentert. She graduated from Holstein High School in 1968. Shirley married Russell on June 28, 1986.

Shirley was employed at Wells Fargo Bank for 48 years, ending her career as a project manager. She enjoyed fishing, crafts, camping, and watching all sports associated with Husker Athletics. Shirley loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Merlin and Gergianna Klusman; brother, Eugene Gentert; niece, Jennifer Konen; and nephew, Charles Gentert.
