Steven Adams

Hastings resident, Steven C. Adams, 62, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his home.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday, August 26, 2014; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. and Saturday, August 23, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.Memorials may be given to Multiple Sclerosis or Breast Cancer Awareness.

Steven was born November 28, 1951 in Lexington, Nebraska to Allen C. & Marjorie L. (Strever) Adams. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1970. Steven married Karen L. Portenier on October 27, 1973. He worked as a control operator for Chief Ethanol. Steven enjoyed visiting with family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, making fishing equipment, and reading.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
