Susan M. Erickson

Hastings resident Susan M. Erickson, 57, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Mosaic in York, NE.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 6, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings, with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be held at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, NE. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St.Jude’s. Susan was born December 14, 1968, to Virgil and Alice (Rinehart) Erickson. Susan enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and making memories with the people she loved. She had a love for country music and enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places. She was an avid Husker fan and enjoyed watching football and volleyball. Susan especially loved being around people, and her time spent with children brought her great joy. She also had a special fondness for purses and jewelry, always enjoying the opportunity to add something special to her collection. Above all, Susan cherished the friendships and relationships she built throughout her life and the many memories she shared with family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of people, her interests, and the joy she brought to those around her.
