Thomas Cushing

Sun City West, Arizona and former Hastings resident Thomas Henry Cushing, 87, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, in Surprise, AZ.

Rosary is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation is 10 – 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Thomas was born September 18, 1930, in Hastings, NE to Harry Henry & Grace Anne Cushing. He attended Notre Dame and graduated from the University of Nebraska. Thomas married Janet Louise Crabtree in 1955; she preceded him in death in 1970. To this marriage, there were three children: Michelle, Chip, and Randall Cushing. He married Janet Marie Coffod on August 16, 1975.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janet; brother, Richard Harry Cushing.
