Hastings resident, Thomas Nicholson, 88, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Saturday, June 2, 2012; 1:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Art Schakat officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 2012; 11:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.
Thomas was born August 23, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to William & Thomasine (Thomlison) Nicholson. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard from August 18, 1942 until September 22, 1945 during World War II.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.
